Amateur Radio Licensing
The next regular exam session is scheduled for . The exams will be given in the Professor Jackson classroom at the American Red Cross; testing will begin after the WARS regular meeting. To see a map and get directions to the test site click here.
Upcoming Exam Sessions
What you will need:
- The examination fee (now $15.00) in check or correct change
- A photo identification card plus one other kind of identification
- Some sharp pencils, eraser, and a black pen. It is recommended to have a back-up
- Calculators may be used; however, the examiners will erase the memory before the exam begins
- If you are upgrading you license, you will need to bring a copy of your current license and/or your CSCEs
- If you are applying for your first license, you must already have an FCC Registration Number (FRN); if you do not have an FRN, please visit the link below to obtain an FRN before the test session
